Terms of Service

1. About these terms
KoraNow ("KoraNow", "we", "us") is operated by KoraNow LLC. These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, form a binding agreement between you and us and govern your use of the KoraNow app and services. By creating an account or using KoraNow, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use KoraNow.
2. You must be 18 or older
KoraNow is for adults only. By using KoraNow you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to create an account or take part in matches. If we learn that a user is under 18, we may suspend or remove the account.
3. What KoraNow is — and is not
KoraNow is a technology platform that helps players discover, book and organise football matches and connect with venues and other players. We are not a sports club, organiser, referee, coach, trainer or venue operator, and we are not a participant in, or organiser of, any match. Matches are arranged between players and venues. We do not supervise matches, verify player identity or skill, or control the conduct, safety or condition of any venue or player.
4. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for everything that happens under it. Keep your sign-in secure and tell us immediately of any unauthorised use. You may browse as a guest, but booking, joining matches, squads and challenges requires an account.
5. Bookings, cancellations & refunds
A confirmed booking reserves a real place that other players can no longer take. You can cancel free of charge until the cancellation cutoff shown for that match (currently 3 hours before kickoff at most venues); after that, and for no-shows, your place (and any amount paid) may be forfeited. Repeated no-shows may limit your access. Where paid bookings are offered, payments are handled by third-party payment providers and any refunds follow the cancellation rules shown at the time of booking. KoraNow may cancel or reschedule a match (for example, if too few players confirm); where a cancelled match was paid for, we will refund the amount paid for that match.
6. Play at your own risk
Football and other physical activity carry inherent risks, including the risk of serious injury, permanent disability or death. You take part in any match entirely voluntarily and at your own risk. You confirm that you are medically fit to play and that you are responsible for your own health, fitness, equipment and insurance. If in doubt, consult a doctor before playing.
7. Release & waiver of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release and agree to hold harmless KoraNow, its owners, directors, employees and agents from and against any and all claims, injury, illness, death, loss or damage (including to property) arising out of or connected with your use of KoraNow, your participation in any match, the acts or omissions of other players, hosts or venues, or the condition of any venue — whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent the law allows.
8. Venues & other players
Venues and other players are independent of KoraNow. We do not own or operate venues and we do not control other users. We are not responsible for the availability, safety, condition or standards of any venue, or for the behaviour, reliability, honesty or skill of any player, host or squad. Any dispute you have with a venue or another user is between you and them.
9. Provided "as is"
KoraNow is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that matches will be available, that players or venues will behave as expected, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Limit of our liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KoraNow will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, data or goodwill. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to KoraNow is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, or AED 100. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. You cover us (indemnity)
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KoraNow and its team from any claims, losses, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of KoraNow, your participation in matches, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of anyone else’s rights.
12. Conduct & fair play
There is zero tolerance for violence, harassment, discrimination, cheating, fraud or illegal activity, on or off the pitch. Respect venues, hosts and players. We may remove content, suspend, or permanently close accounts that breach these terms or put others at risk, at our discretion.
13. Suspension & closing accounts
You can close your account from Profile at any time, in one of two ways. Deactivating pauses your account: your data is kept and you can reactivate whenever you like with your email. Deleting schedules permanent removal: your account is paused immediately, you are removed from squads, and any squad you captain transfers to its earliest eligible active member. After a 30-day grace period, your account and personal data are permanently deleted, except limited security, legal and dispute records we must retain. You can cancel a scheduled deletion during the 30 days by signing in and reactivating, but removed squad memberships and transferred captaincy are not restored. An active ban does not prevent deletion; a protected record of its original start and end time is retained to prevent evasion and is restored if the same verified identity returns before the ban expires. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, misuse the service, or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including risk, waiver, liability and indemnity — continue to apply.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date below and may ask you to accept the new terms. Continuing to use KoraNow after an update means you accept the updated terms.
15. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dubai courts — without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you under UAE law.
